Always a pleasure shopping with Gladfellow. I have made a few purchases from them and my recent vintage Kreisler lighter was perfect. It showed up in pristine condition and simply needed a flint to get it in working condition. Their customer service is also something I really appreciate. I had an issue with my order that was due to the shipping service basically losing my item. Gladfellow made it incredibly easy to get everything taken care of and promptly shipped me a new item. Not only did they take care of the issue they were really nice and made me feel like my order mattered. I for sure recommend shopping with Gladfellow.

This is an Absolute Necessity, even if you don't smoke... I have been smoking for 20 years now unfortunately. I am going to quit but, even when I do, I will still carry this. In my years I have used every type and brand of disposable lighter. I switched to zippos years back and didn't look back. I love zippo, especially the armor cut. They have some flaws though. They attack sand and it gets trapped in cartridge, they leak if overfilled and put upside down, the flints do not last long, they are bulky and the fluid evaporates.
This little douglas solves almost every problem I have with zippo...
It is built like a tank with the precision of a clock!
The brass will take a beating and patina with grace.the o rings will prevent leaks and evaporation. The size is perfect, small and ¹, yet big enough to hold comfortably. Its almost completely sealed so I don't need to worry about the beach sand. The flints are incredible.its a nice big chunk of Flintstone, it will last a good while and it strikes. every time I light it. I could keep raving about it but, hopefully you're done reading and buying one right now!!!
As for GladFellow... this is my new favorite store to do business with online. Its like Jeff searched my browser history and tailored a store just for me. Haha. I am always hunting for High quality, highly functional, built to last and look good items and tools. In a throw away world, there are still things that are created with vision, crafted with pride and built to last... this lighter is one of them and GladFellow is a company that not only stocks this level of quality but, actually gives a damn about the people that buy them! That is incredibly rare now days and deserves praise, support and loyalty.
